June 29, 2012 - Former French First Lady Carla Bruni is pregnant with her third child, it was claimed yesterday.

The baby will be the 44-year-old's second with husband Nicolas Sarkozy, 56.

Carla Bruni gave birth to a baby girl on October 19, 2011 (when she was 43 years old), the first baby born to a French presidential couple in office.

Doctors were urging the former supermodel to have total rest because she is an older mother giving birth in her 40s, Closer said.
