Kfar Khabad, Israel - Forty years of fertility treatments finally give ultra-Orthodox couple their hearts' desire – a healthy baby boy
"I've waited for a baby for so long, I'm so happy," a woman who became the proud mother of a firstborn son at the age of 60, said today.
The woman went into premature labor about three weeks ago. She was hospitalized in an attempt to stop the early delivery, but soon after that doctors had no choice but to deliver the baby, which came into the world in the 34th week of pregnancy and at 4.29lbs.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
