Just over 16 weeks at 44
Just joining in myself at 44 and just over 16 weeks. I know I am not eating as well as I could be, nor exercising as much as I should. This looks like a great site to give me some structure and motivation.
I just told my family recently (except my sister who has known for a while). They are all happy for us (my first, my husband's third) - I am sure a bit worried - but so far all looks good.
Have not yet told the rest of the world - am hoping to get the all clear from my amnio [amniocentesis] within the next few days and then I'll start telling people.
Good luck and healthy pregnancies to all of you. - Lisa

I'm 44, about 6 weeks pregnant. I also have a daughter 23 years old, a son 22 years old, from my former marriage. I also have a daughter 6 years old, my little angel in heaven, and a son 4 years old.
I'm waiting for my first prenatal visit on APRIL 5TH. I'm going to ask for an ultrasound as soon as possible! I know I'll be high risk, as I was with my son.
As far as the special test go, I refused the amino [amniocentesis]. I think it's too risky! I also would like to wish everyone good luck! My due date is 11-11-06
