Found out I was pregnant at 44

I have 3 grown up children (23, 21, and 16 - well the 16 year old thinks she's grown up), and 2 months after remarrying last year, found out I was pregnant! I'm 44, my husband is 48.

I always wanted another baby, but like most people, listened to those voices telling me no, it was over, so never imagined it. Stay healthy, be positive, have loads of loving sex with your partner, and never ever lose hope!

I am 44 and pregnant with my 7th child. This pregnancy occurred naturally (and unexpectedly, I might add).

My sister-in-law had her last baby when she was 46, conceiving naturally and delivering a healthy baby.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
