My 44 year old cousin (now 45) got a surprise pregnancy at 44 and delivered her new son at 45. There is no rhyme or reason, it just is.

And she felt bad because she knows some many women, like us and she just came up positive...

Pregnant at 52... IVF [in vitro fertilization] with donor eggs. Just found out, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.

I have two other children from previous marriage... Much older - 21 and 23 so I am starting all over again, and couldn't be more excited!!!

Clay Aiken, former 'American Idol' is said to have impregnanted his 50 year old 'friend'. Artificial Insemination was used but no mention of fertility drugs.
