Documented evidence of a 48y giving birth
I have documented evidence of a 48 year old ancestor giving birth, so I'm personally a bit nervous about contraception now. Mom was on the Pill, by doctor's orders, after age 40.

We had a consultant with us for a while at work. She became pregnant at 47 NATURALLY with twins.
Nothing is impossible. Amazing things happens everyday.

I just keep telling myself that my cousin had a baby at age 46, so can I. So can all of us!!!!!!

I had three children in my 30’s (31, 34, 36), and my fourth when I was 44! And I think this runs in the family - my older sister had her second at 42.
It was a shock to the mental/emotional system, rather than the physical/spiritual. My doctor said that bearing children in your 40’s isn’t rare anymore.
They did suggest having the plethora of tests which we decided against - knowing this child has already joined our family.

I was thinking of friends in real life this A.M…. And I have a friend at church who delivered her first children at 46. Twin boys! She handled it all beautifully!

I am 44.8, will be over 45 when I give birth to my 1st child! :-) It is a natural pregnancy! Yahoo!!! More and more healthy women get pregnant over 40. It is not so unusual anymore.
It would be so inspirational to hear how many months and months it took for each to conceive.
Conceiving 40 plus takes a bit of some time BUT you bet it happens...!!...
