I will be 44 when I deliver
I found out I am pregnant one week ago today. I am 5 weeks and 5 days. I am very nervous about having a baby again at my age. I'm 43, will be 44 when I deliver.
I have 14, 12, and 10 year old kids. I can't get excited about this at all. Anyone else have a similar experience, and how did it go?

I'll be 44 when my 4th baby comes (edc 9/2/06). My youngest is 9, and I absolutely had much more energy when I did this 10 years ago! My midwife told me that with older moms she doesn't so much worry about complications or defects. She worries about them overdoing it!
I will tell you that I've just past 13 weeks, and I really feel like I'm returning to the land of the living. My energy is better. My stomach is great. I think I really can do this again!

I am 46, and just found out I am pregnant. I also gave everything away to the Katrina effort. Then I jokingly said that just as soon as I gave everything away, I'll get pregnant.
We have two other kids, 8 and 6 and haven't used any birth control since the first one. We have been praying for another baby, and feel blessed to be pregnant again.

I was 44 when I had my daughter seven weeks ago. It wasn't planned at all, in fact, I was very upset at first when I found out I was pregnant. I got use to the pregnancy, and fell in love with my daughter through all the ultrasounds I needed to have.

I am "only" 38, but my grandmother had her last baby when she was 45, and since that was my father, I'm glad she did! 68 years later, he is still going strong.
From what I heard, her older sons, who were in their 20's at the time, were slightly embarrassed to be seen with a youngish looking pregnant woman. Actually, I will be old enough to be my own baby's grandmother as well!
