I just turned 44, this is my 2nd child

I just turned 44. This is my second child, my first will be 15 on Saturday the 28th. I've been very blessed - no miscarriages or problems.

We decided about 6 years ago to go off any protection, and see what happened. I had given up. We had talked about going to doctors, and just decided not to. We had one beautiful daughter and so... we would let God work his miracle, if that was to be. Surprise!

You go girl! I will have you in my thoughts. I am 36.5 weeks and 44 also, with first. We are having a boy. Enjoy every moment of it. Don't worry about all the test, etc. Our numbers are growing!

Hi, I am 44 and 24 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, my first child. My husband is 50. I had all of the tests, amnio, and everything is going really well. I feel very fortunate. This is my second pregnancy, my first was 10 years ago and was let's just say a pregnancy from hell that took me time to get over. That is why I am so grateful about how my current pregnancy has been. I am wishing all the best to everyone!

I am 51 and my husband is 51. We just had our third girl last week with a fairly short labour, and she is beautiful and healthy. Our other two children are age 19 and 23 so this is like starting out all over.

This baby was an initial surprise but we were blessed with a healthy pregnancy. I did decide to do the amnio to ease any worry and was surprised that it wasn't painful either. Elise Marie is a blessing and her sisters are thrilled. Fresh papaya helps with the indigestion.
