Here I am, pregnant at 50

So here I am, pregnant at age 50, dumped by a man I loved for six years. I have no insurance and am presently unemployed. I am too old to be a single parent, and I don't want this cold, selfish man back. I don't know what to do to keep my sanity and make this decision alone.

It is possible to get pregnant when you are older the old fashion way. My mom had me when she was 51 in 1961. People worry too much.

Well! I'm 44 and just found out I am pregnant. Very mixed emotions, I just want to have a healthy baby. Anyone else having gone through pregnancy in their 40's?

I am 45 and I was 12 weeks pregnant, when I had a miscarriage just 2 days ago. I have a 25 year old daughter from a previous marriage. My husband and I would very much like to have a child together. We're hoping to try again in a couple of months even though the odds are against my advancing age. At least we now know that I can get pregnant at this age. It's just a matter of whether the pregnancy will be full term and that the baby will be healthy.
