She gave birth last summer (1st baby) at 45
I have heard stories of women trying for years, thinking they had given up, then they get pregnant. A friend of mine, who is a doula, had a client who gave birth last summer (1st baby) at 45. They hadn't done any major medical interventions, but had been trying for a few years. I haven't met her yet, but stories like these are out there. It isn't impossible.

I would like to second the emotion that this is indeed possible - I am now on baby #3 in my 40's - my first at 40, my second at 42 1/2 and this baby will be due 2 months before my 45th birthday. All conceived naturally.

I’m 44 and pregnant again, I’m very very lucky I’ve never needed any help conceiving, so if I’m not to old, neither are you.

You can add me to the 2nd baby over 40 list. I had my first at 42 and I will be having my c-section in 3 1/2 weeks at the ripe old(?) age of 45. I have been pregnant a total of 6 times in my forties. All have been completely natural. I have never had any testing done so I didn't know (or care) what my FSH levels were.
