I'm 45, 30 weeks pregnant with my 8th child - 5th pregnancy. I've decided to forego all the testing, excepting for the routine blood work.

My midwife asked me if I would change anything or do anything, should the testing show any abnormalities and I say NO! So that kind of clinched it for me.

Finding out I was pregnant for the first time at age 46, was a big surprise in and of itself. There's some divine plan at work here, my dear friends. Have patience and faith.

I did it!!! I was on a rest cycle because I had a cyst. Did not even think about getting pregnant this month, really did not try, only had sex 1 time. (cd18) I had so much other stuff going on, planning a big party, starting a new job.

And WOW it happened. Beta 12,621. I thought I was late because of the cyst. I am so excited. Sending STICKY BABY DUST TO YOU ALL...

See us older women can still do it, I will be 46 next month. I really think the key is to relax, it was the first time in 18 months that I was not thinking about getting pregnant. After all the poking and prodding and injections over the last 5 months, it happened all natural. I go for an ultrasound tomorrow.
