A 49 year old cousin of a colleague is pregnant with TWINS

A 49 year old cousin of a colleague of mine did IVF and is pregnant with TWINS. One boy, one girl! No idea about her FSH, but the fact that she's 49 and doing great is inspiring!!

Baby Story: It comes on the TLC channel there was a lady on there today who is 43 and was pregnant with her first child. She said it took her 7 months to get pregnant. She said she went to her doctor at 6 months and he wanted her to go to a specialist. Well right before her appointment with the specialist, she found out she was pregnant.

I heard a very interesting story today of a lady who was married, couldn't have kids, divorced, did IVF donor on her own, had TWINS as a single mom, then later met a younger hunky man, they married, and they managed to have another baby of their own when she was age 44!!!

It is well known that some women will conceive spontaneously in their late 40's or early 50's. There are enough unwanted "oops" babies out there going to menopausal women to make this a known fact. I know of a woman who had completed her family and was on birth control pills until age 46 when her stupid OB told her that it was safe to come off them now -- two months later she was pregnant and is due to deliver. Definitely not DE!
