I found out I was pregnant the day after my 44th birthday... I opted for no tests, I have one fallopian tube... I was shocked... I am now 15 weeks. --- K.K.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.

I found out I was pregnant at 44 too, I am cautiously optimistic. I had 2 miscarriages prior to this. I feel great and at 10 weeks, I am further along than I was the last time. I already have a 8 and 6 year old and am looking forward to having a new little baby in the house!
