44 year old Kathleen was told she would never become a mother unless she used a younger woman's donated eggs. Her doctor was wrong. When her reproductive system was nurtured and cared for naturally, she conceived her healthy daughter on her own.

I ran into a client today that I have not seen in over 2 years. I photographed her daughter's wedding. Anyway, she is almost 49 and 5 months ago she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. It was a total surprise. She had been trying for 10 years with her new dh and they had given up. Needless to say she is "over the moon". I told her how beautiful she looked as a new mother. She has given me hope! I hope this story will give you hope as well.

Julia Indichova wrote the book "Inconceivable." She had an FSH of 42 when she was 42. When she was approximately 44 she got pregnant, and gave birth when she was 45. The month she got pregnant, her FSH was 30.

My youngest child was born when I was 44 years old. We didn't receive any negative comments, but then people weren't too surprised since he was my tenth and everyone was quite used to me having babies! There were no health problems with the baby, and my pregnancy, labour and delivery went very well.

HI , my last two were at 41 and 44. I had no problems that were too different from the other ones. I should say each pregnancy had some sort of issue but none were horrible nor unable to deal with

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
