I'm 46, and 28 weeks pregnant. I'm a bit of an odd duck here, because I'm not married, and this was totally unplanned.

We're now 23 weeks pregnant with a girl, and I turned 47 in October. It's our 6th conception since the birth of our son when I was 41.5, and none of the others made it, so I'm a little stunned to see this one going so well.

You're not too old to be doing this! I know one woman who had her baby at 46 without any help!

Yes, I am 50 with a 2 1/2 year old. My other children are grown 26 and 28.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
