Hi! Just to let you know that I am 22 weeks pregnant, at the age of 46!!

I hear that Davis is great. I tried to see him last year, but he would not take me at 44. I have been cycling at NYU. Only to get pregnant on my own!

I'm late to reply - but I had my first (and probably only) a daughter, a few months shy of my 45th birthday. She was the result of IUI from a cancelled IVF. It was my sixth cycle - 3 iuis, 2 ivf, and the third cancelled attempt at IVF was my greatest achievement.

You have come to the right place! My grandmother had my dad at age 46 in 1927, he was her 10th child. I have many friends over 45 who have conceived over the last three years since I have been on my path to another child. Some naturally, some using ivf, some using donor eggs, some using donor embryos.

My girlfriend got pregnant at 45 and had a very healthy little boy at 46. This was via IVF with her own eggs on her first cycle.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
