46 years old and 26 weeks pregnant - I found out I was pregnant at 19 weeks and 2 days. I've had all the blood work and amnio and everything is normal!! Yeaaaa!

I am 52 years old and 7 weeks pregnant. I feel healthy and happy. The internet sites I have located assume that anyone over 50 will need to use donor eggs. However I conceived by accident without any difficulty. My father's sister had a baby at 54.

As for being pregnant over 50, my 54 year old cousin gave birth on May 24th to her first child. As far as I know the baby was naturally conceived. We learned of the pregnancy around Thanksgiving and it was a big shocker!

A former co-worker of mine's mother gave birth to her at 52 without the aid of doctors. She said she was definitely an oops baby.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
