FORT PAYNE, Ala. (May 26) - A 57-year-old great-grandmother who gave birth to a set of twins last month said Thursday she danced with her husband only hours after the delivery.
Christian Kaczur Hart and Diana Rose Angelina, conceived through in vitro fertilization, were born April 20 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham four weeks premature. Swain and her husband, Jay, brought the babies home to Fort Payne on Friday.
The couple, whose youngest child, Jimmy, is 6, said they did not want Jimmy to grow up as an only child, who was conceived naturally when she was 51! The twins were done via ART. They were on Good Morning America with the doctor (a woman) and she delivered them vaginally including the second baby who happened to be breach.

I was 46 when I conceived naturally after 1 1/2 years of trying. I am now the mother of a healthy 23 month old son who is the joy of my life, I would do it all over again in a heart beat. It takes a lot more out of you at this age but it is worth it and I tell everyone it keeps me young. As a side note I also have a 29, almost 30 year old son who loves his little brother!

I wanted to let you know that 33 years ago, my grandma had her 10th healthy child on her 44th birthday with no medical intervention!
