By the way, I am currently seeing a naturopath who treated a woman who was 53y and she got pregnant with her own eggs and no other help aside from herbs, supplements and homeopathy.

I'm not pregnant or over 40, but I lurk here sometimes because my mom is pregnant at 47!

My best friends mother in law got pregnant at 53 naturally.. had no test taken during the pregnancy , and had a beautiful healthy baby girl

When my mom was born in 1939, her mom (my grandmother) was 48 1/2. It was her first child! My grandfather was 58.

I said, "What is the oldest patient you have had who has gotten pg w/ no medical intervention?" [My dr] thought about it, and said "Well, for the first baby, 43. But if they had prior pregnancies, well, some just keep going and going, the sky's the limit!"

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
